Does Keeping a Journal Help You? Submissive Prompt

Submissive Prompt:

Why do you write a journal? Do you find it is a positive thing for you, and if so, in what ways? Is it a public journal? Do you ever find yourself censoring your writings for whoever else might read them?

Why do you write a journal?

I started this journal as a way of getting my thoughts down.  A place to rant and write about things that I can’t do on my other blog.  It was a suggestion from the Submissive Guide and something my husband/Master/Sir had told me to do years ago but it just never took.  This time I think is the charm.

Do you find it is a positive thing for you, and if so, in what ways?

Yes, positive so far.  It helps me clear my head, writing things out often lets me think them through and see them in different ways.  It clears my system.  It lets Master know what is going on since I am very closed in so many ways.  It is very freeing to just write and not have to worry about offending or saying the wrong thing.

Is it a public journal?

It is public in all things except my weekly letters to Master or those things that are meant for his eyes alone.  It is not on any search engines (I think) so it makes it harder to find (I think).  I thought keeping it public would be helpful if anyone decided to follow.  That opens the door for feedback from others which is always helpful and nice.

Do you ever find yourself censoring your writings for whoever else might read them?

Nope, not here.  This is a take me as I am or don’t bother reading.  I write with my Master in mind and hope that maybe others will be interested but if not, I am happy just having this little outlet.  I certainly don’t set out to offend people but if it happens there is not much I can do.  I would think those that would be interested in reading here would be open-minded enough that nothing I say would have to be censored.  Time will tell.
